Solar & Battery Installation Projects
A selection of recent projects completed by Enhance Power Ltd.
Chapel Road, Southampton
For this project we installed 16 on-roof solar panels with a GivEnergy 5kW hybrid inverter. The property is situated on a South facing plot (direct south) and so the owners can make full use of the sun throughout the day for maximum energy generation.
As the large property also has the benefit of a hot tub, they have higher than usual energy needs so we installed and commissioned two 9.5kWh GivEnergy batteries to further increase their energy independence. This means they’ll be able to store and use the solar energy generated to power their home for longer, and at times when no energy is being generated, for example at night.
In addition to the battery storage, we installed a myenergi eddi – a water diverter that will use excess solar energy to heat the hot water for the home.
The total performance estimate for this home is 6622kWh.
Monks Way, Southampton
This installation included 15 Viridian in-roof solar panels. The owners of this detached coastal property were undergoing roof maintenance and so it was an excellent opportunity to integrate in-roof panels to streamline the look of the solar and also prevent future bird infestation/nesting.
We also installed a 10kWh SolarEdge battery storage system during this project so that the owners could maximise their renewable energy usage and capitalise on the smart export guarantee to sell excess energy back to the grid.
Oak Tree Gardens, Hedge End
Our client for this project was able to benefit from solar panel installation across three of the bungalow’s roofs. This was made possible by the use of SolarEdge power optimisers, a market leading product that enables you to maximise solar energy generation. As part of our install we added bird protection to the on-roof solar panels.
They also opted for battery storage to further enhance their energy saving possibilities and we installed and SolarEdge 10kWh system at the property.
Additional products installed as part of this project included a myenergi zappi EV charger and an eddi water diverter. Both can utilise stored battery energy, making charging their electric vehicle and the heating of hot water at the property free the majority of the time.
The performance estimate for this project is 5731 kWh which is predicted to cover 83% of the home’s electrical usage when combined with its battery.
