How do Solar Panels work?
During daylight, solar photovoltaic cells convert energy from light into direct current (DC) electricity. This is then fed into an inverter where it’s converted into alternating current (AC) which is what you will use to power your home.
Solar panels generate the most energy on a sunny day but will still work when it is overcast so they can be used throughout the year. You can also maximise your renewable energy usage with the addition of battery storage.
On our survey visit we will assess and recommend the positioning of your panels and create a design and quote that’s tailored to your needs.
We use a wide range of systems and panel manufacturers from leading suppliers depending on your requirements and budget.
Above Roof Solar Panels
Above roof solar panels are a cost effective way of adding solar panels to an existing roof. This popular method involves attaching solar panels to the roof using mounting brackets which sit above the tiles. This method is suitable for a variety of roof types.

Roof Integrated Solar Panels
In-roof solar panels replace the roof tiles and sit flush with your roof. Integrated solar panels are designed to behave as a roof tile meaning that they are 100% waterproof. This option tends to be a much more streamlined approach and is a perfect option for new-build properties and extensions, or if your roof is undergoing modernisation.

Our support starts from our very first call with you, where we will offer friendly advice and organise a site visit to assess your home. From there, we’ll custom design your Solar PV system, providing calculations of how much energy you could generate and potentially save so that you can make an informed decision. Installation can take as little as a week and we will project manage this from start to finish.
While we are firm believers in choosing the highest quality products, we are not tied to using one manufacturer and will recommend the best solution to suit your individual requirements and budget.
